Why is JaK’s Grill West Seattle moving?
We’ve loved our current space, but we’re excited to upgrade into a refreshed space that allows us to serve you even better—with improved design, amenities, and long-term sustainability.
Where is the new location?
We’re staying close to home—just moving across the road to 4209 SW Alaska Street.
Will anything change about the menu or experience?
Yes—and intentionally so.
Change is a constant in this industry, but we don’t chase trends for the sake of it. As we open our new space, we’re taking the opportunity to evolve in thoughtful ways that reflect how our guests dine today.
We’re updating our menu to highlight:
More seasonal ingredients
Smaller, more shareable plates and portions
An expanded selection of beef cuts, including less traditional options
More vegetarian-friendly dishes
Menus that change more dynamically with the seasons
That said, we’re not burning our old recipe books. The spirit of JaK’s—quality and hospitality remains at the core of everything we do.

Can I still make a reservation?
Yes—our current location is open through Sunday, May 18th, and we’d love to see you one more time in our current space before the move!

Will gift cards still work at the new location?
Yes—any JaK’s Grill gift cards will continue to work at the new location and all of our sister restaurants.
Will parking be different?
Yes—and it’s getting easier!
At our new location, guests will be able to park in the retail section of the garage beneath the building. )You’ll also continue to find street parking nearby, as well as access to the Diamond paid lots in the area.
